Cease and Desist, Online Bronies!"Cease and Desist, Online Bronies!"
The two words that bronies fear above all,
Making them a target for hunting's sake.
One after another they drop and fall,
Leaving a trail of brony-tears in their wake.
Then two bronies eager to quote the law,
(Threatening dreams of courthouses and bench)
Start their internet search and declare war,
Quoting vacuous facts from where and whence.
The first, with an authoritative eye,
Spreads leg to his foe by building his wall;
Mantles word from an informed alibi;
Clears throat and offers the following drawl:
"Hasbro, play the fair hand;
A year and a half has gone up in smoke!
I wasn't making a p

An Enterprise: The Brony Thanks-To-You ProjectA Short Enterprise: The Brony Thanks-To-You Project; Or, The Pocket-Book Misgivings of an Industrious Assembly.
From the perspective of the Right Honourable Diffuser of Situations Grave.
Pleasing as it is to the court of fine peers, I bid good passing that eyes are directed away from licentious misgivings of communication to a universal act of decency. Forwarding this matter, to the public entity of best intentions, I relay the pending program of diffusion; that I shall, with all good and fair-chosen morals, launch a campaign of acceptance, and it shall be called the Brony Thanks-To-You Project, which will, accordingly, boast produc

There's a Hole in my Lyra (Down Below)"Written from the Venerable Earl... to the concerned party,
It has come to my attention that with grave discourse many have seemingly adopted a negative stance towards the recent pony plush-toy range with the custom-cut vagina. I contend that such a plush has every right to exist and that those negatively disposed towards it are failing to see the multitudinous benefits to its existence. Firstly, and with the greatest of importance, may I add, I strongly argue that this plush-toy is no less acceptable than any other erotic image or work of fiction designed with the primary objective of helping a brony to reach a satisfying climax. In fact, I
I just laughed when I saw the links were to you, because I thought - hey! At least someone knows how to point people to a guy with the ability to make an argument.
I like that with the posts you've made about this whole dividing issue, you ask a question instead of make a comment. It's good people skills as well as good conflict-resolution skills to ask certain kinds of questions to get people's thoughts rather than their rage.
I read it the day that you linked me to it (amoungst other things in your gallery) but haven't replied until now, sorry
Actually you really inspired me with this to write a MLP fan...comic which I went a made a tumblr for yesterday 'ask twliciorn'. Ironically a few hours later the announcement was made XD
Anyway back to this... I seriously can't express in words how fantastically you compared this to sexism and depicted the brony as a 'controlling husband' type character. It's a really clever idea and it works fantastically! I love the question it ultimately raises, for even a children's cartoon, which is 'What if Twilight Sparkle wants this?' Would the 'Twilight is best pony' fans really want her not to achieve her dream?
I couldn't not write a fic on the idea, hope that cool with you >w<
I'm really glad you liked the satire. Recently I've been talking a lot with the lovely
Anything is cool with me, friend! Take care!
It's almost as though there's some low-level sexism generally in the fandom, ironic being a show for little girls.. Although, that's not to say that I believe that all bronies are sexist
My tumblr is still under construction but I made it 'live' asap since the announcement, so bare with me there... [link]
I'm going to be including a male character who will be a representation of the brony 'character' you've written about here, since I figured I'd undoubtedly have anti-twilicorn 'questions' (which, in fact, I've already gotten!). He's not central to the plot I have planned though >w<
Thanks again for giving me the inspiration for it though!
There is a sense of low-level sexism permeating the fandom. I've had plenty of questions from females in the fandom who have been told they can't be bronies, which I find disheartening. Bronies are breaking no gender boundaries when they're alienating females.
First off... when you read it the first time it sounds like a guy just not wanting his beloved character to change..
ok I'm down with that.
But upon a second reading ... it seems to me a lil' more sexist.
Like he is not only saying that "Hey I love you the way you are .. you dont have to change"
but he is also saying "I love you like this and if you have to change and cant control it.. or want to change to get something different or better out of life ... then I'm going to leave you high and dry."
It rather reminds me of the boy friend I had in junior college .. who did that exact thing. I got accepted into the 4 year program and he didn't ... he tried every one under the sun.. from being nice to being a bastard... to convince me that i was better off NOT "Growing wings" to speak.
It seems to me that while I can understand a person, or a fan, not wanting change... that you are placing limits on something you love.
I have to warn you friend, you do that with any woman, real or imagined, human or unicorn, When the change DOES happen...and IT WILL... your going to loose her because your to bloody selfish to accept that they have the right to be living beings and grow and develop as they see fit.
If it's a real girl... and you refuse to accept her change.. she's going to do what I did. She's going to turn around and walk out on you because ... while you can love her the way she is.. you cant love her the way she has to be.
IF its Twilight Sparkle... your going to loose her to because your too bloody narrow minded to accept her and the paths that her character take.
SO I have to offer you this advice... if you can't handle your woman having "Wings", if you can't take the fact that she changes and may need to fly... Then may you never really loved her at all.
Think about it.
